Here at High Meadow Farm we have found that the climate and conditions in the Shenandoah Valley are excellent for growing  garlic.  Each clove is carefully seeded in our 2700 square foot high tunnel greenhouse using the most nutritious mushroom compost-based soils which is guaranteed organic.  Throughout the growing season we amend our soil with farm made compost.

Our garlic is organically grown and bursting with flavor.  You wont believe the difference it can make in your cooking until you have tried it.  Our garlic is never exposed to herbicides or pesticides plus, by supporting local farmers like us, you’re contributing to a more sustainable food system! 

Garlic bulbs are harvested at their peak of flavor in late June and July and are shipped off the farm in late July-August.

We are now accepting pre-orders for our fall planting which begins November 1st. 2023.
